The PCI Security Standards Council– the global consortium of payment card companies including among others American Express, MasterCard, Visa Inc, and Discover Financial–needed to attract cyber security professionals in an extremely competitive hiring market.
The Challenge
The Solution
We could have interviewed cyber security folks at PCI SSC about why they love their jobs, all the career advancement opportunities, etcetera etcetera. Yawn, right?. Knowing that these folks tend to go in a big way for the Marvel Universe—and why not, cyber security folks are heroes too—we created Cyber Woman versus Hackman.
The Outcome
The video debuted at the organization’s annual conference, where its unusual and playful approach generated strong organic sharing within the cyber security community. Most importantly, it drove traffic to the newly launched PCI SSC job board which in turn led to new hires.
